What this website collects
This website has no forms and no accounts. It does not ask for your name, your contact details or anything about your health.
Like every website, our server records technical details of each visit — such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you open — to keep the site secure and working. We keep these records for a limited time and do not use them to identify you.
Booking an appointment
Online booking happens on our booking portal, run by the provider of our practice software. When you book, you become our patient, and your details are then handled under our patient privacy notice, which reception can give you.
Registering as a new patient
When you register through the form on this website, we use your name, sex, date of birth, contact details and address to open your patient record and to contact you about your care. We confirm by email and by WhatsApp or text message, from this clinic. Where we use Dentally, our practice software, your record is opened there too.
A registration we approve becomes your patient record. One we reject, or that is left unanswered, is deleted 12 months after it was rejected or sent.
The form also asks whether we may contact you about offers and news. That is your choice (consent), it is kept on your record, and you can change your mind at any time by telling reception.
Referrals from dentists
When your dentist refers you to us through the form on this website, they send us, with your agreement, your name, date of birth and contact details, and the clinical reason for the referral. We use them to contact you and arrange your care, and they become part of your patient record with us.
When you contact us
If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we use what you send to reply and to arrange your care. WhatsApp is run by Meta, under its own privacy policy.
Other services we use
Our fonts are our own files, served from this website, so no other company is asked for them. The map, the visitor statistics and the advertising measurement are provided by Google and only load once you accept.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or limit how we use it, and ask for it to be passed to you or someone else. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
